Guess I'll start. My name is Sean, been going by the nickname Ozz from my 1st day of high school. Started tattooing at the age of 21 or at least got my foot in the door getting an apprintiship by John Stuckey from Houston Texas at Custom Design. Been an interesting journey to this point. One of the most self satisfying things I have done so far is build tattoo machines. I enjoy painting as well as tattooing. sometimes time seems limited, (I am a full time single dad now) and I wonder where the hell this journey will end up one day. (sounds like a damn personal ad or something, ha ha ha!) Anyway my online work is at worldofozz.com Thanx to all of you who make this forum a great place to visit.

I have been tattooing for close to four years in the southside of Chicago and NW Indiana region the entire time. ummm.....I also do portrait drawings, graffiti (legally out of my garage, and I also am getting started on airbrushing. As far as how I got started in tattooing, I took on an apprenticeship at a shop...I knew absolutely nothing And the guy that was supposed to teach me really didn't teach me a thing. Luckily, there were a couple of experienced and taleted artists that worked there that took the time to show me the ropes and kinda took me under thier wings. For them, am I ever grateful. RYAN

Mostly self taught but got some good pointers along the way, In-Laws used to tattoo so I got lucky and they showed me the ropes,I have a 5 1/2 year old budding tattooest,And a lovely wife who supports the 12 hour shifts.Well other than that juust a regular guy tryin to do his best. The world is my canvas.......Buuuut I lost my pencil.

I airbrushed my way through high school on the back of jean jackets, then went to college for mechanical engineering for a few years. During that time in 91,I started tattooing my friends with the trusty Spaulding $495 special.After quitting college, I had a few other jobs until tattooing became full time about 4 years ago. I have a house(fix it upper) which occupies most of my free time. A girlfriend of 3+ years that is totally supportive of tattooing. 3 dogs.And am part owner of Screamin' Tattoos in Warren Ohio.(I didn't choose the name). I also don't go out much, so I can avoid the inevitable tattoo conversation at the bar, Wal mart, mall, wherever.

Currently working part time at Spirit of the Wolf Tattoo in Worcester, MA and The Bodies Temple in Merrimack, NH. And over time I suppose Ive convinced a few people in this town that girls can do it too because Im still here. I went from being told a girl couldnt ever be left at the shop alone to running it when the boss mans away. Today this town has two girls tattooing and times are still changing because its nearly a month since someone asked me if I was the shop girl or the bosses wife or the avon lady while Im holding a machine in my hand. But despite the few minor annoyances we all endure at work ...I feel priviledged to be one of those lucky people who can say they really love their job and I owe it all to Ricky Ritter.
