jason here, been apprenticing at Prophecy Tattoo and Piercing Studio in Smithers BC Canada for the past two years under Uwe Vullings whose been tattooing for 12 yrs and sign painting for 25yrs. Also worked counter for 1yr at Heads Skin Graffitti in Niagara Falls Ontario, owned at the time by James "Head" Lavoie. James taught me how to build needles and the sterilization procedure. In total been hangin out in tattoo shops for about 15 yrs observing and asking questions and i realize that i won't ever know enough about tattooing.

Hello everybody. My name is Amy Brent and I work at the Wizzard'ds Den. Only been there for a short period of time so far, I'm not in the web site yet. Hired on as counter help (which is an amazing place to work, cool jobs are very hard to come by in a town such as this-mostly fast food and Military). I got familiar with scrub work and needle making at a shop back where im from. After that I worked with the public holding workshops/forum about universal precaution/safer tattooing/Safer sex/harm reduction/Safer SM and piercing at the ACSC. Sounds an awful lot like a resumee, doesn't it? When I moved here, I found this placeand for the next year and a half I found myself really wanting to work in this shop , and I was fortunate enough to try for this job when it came open. I did such a superfantabulous job they are gonna keep me as long as im useful, and this coming year I get to start an apprenticeship so's I can be learned in the Way's. long winded, I know, but you asked for it!

been working in bangkok , malaysia.. ad even indonesia,. now back in singapore to make this city a better, colourfull place. only work around asia countires, never been to the U.S. would love to visit by sometimes.. peace. |

 My name is Steve and I've owned Laguna Tattoo for the past 11 years, having bought the shop from my friend Pati Pavlik. I originally learned from a guy in Darby, Pa. named Al Blew who taught me the basics. When I moved to California, I hadn't tattooed for a while so I was fortunate enough to have had a second apprenticeship with Robert Benedetti and Greg James at Sunset Strip Tattoo. I really have them to thank for where I am today. I couldn't be happier with the artists we have now-Lindsey, Chas and Brother Greg-and we are fortunate to have John Ondo working with us now. My name is Lisa Murphy, I work at Against The Grain Tattoo in Melbourne Florida. I have been tattooing for 2 years now. I started my apprenticeship with Wes Diffie of ATG and finished with Tony Olivas of Sacred Heart Tattoo in Atlanta Ga. Working in the little five points location fo my first year, then moving to Florida to open ATG with Wes. Other than tattooing I also paint in acrylic, watercolor, and ink. This is my 1st post and I am hoping that my inferior computer skills, and very testy computer don't keep me from participating regularly.

I have been professionally tattooing for the past 13 years and have owned my Studio for the past 9.:lol I primarily do custom work and I love anything full color, the more color the better. I don't really have a style, I change things up all the time to suit the design or the clients needs. I was in advertising before turning things over to tattooing.
