Cleb,I'm only an apprentice who has just served his first yr been at studio about 3yrs,I have a supportive partner who is the mother of my two beutifull girls 15 and 10 just yesterday my little firework.Fell into the job but love it to death.Working at Geordie Scott's Tattooland Blyth Northumberland England.Usedto play in bands now all I have time for is drawing and tattooing and home life when I'm there,I'm 36 yrs old its never to late ! No pets, no meat,all veg.

I am a recovering accountant that started my apprenticeship at 37, thanks to a very supportive (emotionally and financially) wife that encouraged my change. My two girls just turned 14 & 16. Now the fun REALLY begins!!! Nothing like greeting their prospective dates with with fully exposed sleeves. The look on the kid's face is enough to know my daughter will be safe!!! Im still working there becouse I cant really see myself working anywhere else, its a great place. My favourite style to work in is kind of a mix of biomechanic-organic-horror kind of shit in black and grey. Besides tattooing, painting and drawing I like to make and listen to music and read books. Here's the skinny: Researched, studied, and talked Tattoo extensively for the last year or so. Bought high quality equipment and utilized proper sterile techniques, did a few pieces. Was offered apprenticeship, took it. Not full-time in shop yet but still very hungry to learn from any good input!

Spent many a years in the frozen parts of Pa tattooing mostly coal miners and the local Irishmen. I couldn't tell who had the worse skin between them... coal dirt or whiskey...hmm. Any who, got sick of shoveling the snow off my roof every other day, so I headed south for a change. I ended up in SC for the last 5 yrs working at two different shops across the state line... Since the big "TAT2" is an evil sin of some sort in SC... Recently meet "Boot" and started working at High Energy Tattoos in Ocean Isle NC. Great guy and co-worker... Looking forward to sharing ideas and tech stuff with all... everyone is welcome to pick my brain on tattooing....
